![]() What? Sound is a 7? But Kanye's the greatest!! I know what you're all thinking, but there's a reason. Least it stays constant with the style associated with all the art for Graduation. I'm not the biggest fan of the animation but hey at There isn't much to say about the story as there's no actual dialogue and it's 3 minutes long. Unfortunately though, I don't believe Good Morning does our man justice. So when Kanye "The GOAT" West has an anime music video, you'd expect it to be an easy 10. Praise be to Yeezy!Īs we all know, Kanye West is most definitely the best musical artist of all time, and some (me included) would argue he's the best artist in general of all time. also it's Kanye "MUTHAFUCKIN" West, you OWE it to yourself to listen to our LORD and SAVIOR. Of course, music is highly subjective, and if you're not a fan of Hip-Hop, this might not register with you, but seeing that it's only 3-minutes in length, I think it's worth giving a listen. There's even an alternative music video for Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody that was animated with Japanese partnership. If you're a fan of Daft Punk, I highly suggest checking that out as well. ![]() Of course, Kanye isn't the 1st to collaborate with anime creators, Daft Punk's 2001 album, Discovery, was turned into a full-length film collaboration between Toei Animation and Leiji Matsumoto. Hip-Hop purists will surely enjoy the song if they haven't already tried it out. Sampling Elton John's "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" and containing a stripped-down 808s beat, Kanye guides us through a short segment of his life as an anthropomorphic bear while highlighting every bar with his signature wordplay and catchy flow. It's simply Kanye being honest, delivering his spit-fire braggadocios lyrics and passive-aggressive proclamation as a rap icon, before he took a turn in his career in the later years, where he spiraled down into an endless cycle of narcissism. ![]() Through the use of cel-shaded animation, Murakami was able to bring the album cover and artwork of Graduation to life, with a visual rhythm and style that complemented the ![]() "Good Morning" was the tune that kicked off the album, aided by Murakami's visual insight, the music video became something of an audiovisual tour-guided introduction for all those getting ready to plunge further in. This was a collaboration project for the 2007 Hip-Hop album, Graduation, by the highly-acclaimed controversial rapper before he became a "God," and Takashi Murakami, a well respected contemporary artist from Japan. It's our lord and savior Kanye West, what more can I say? Kanye's Graduation album is very much unlike the rap music of Tupac and 50 Cent that you may be familiar with - it uses a lot of electronic synthesizers and focuses a lot more on introspective topics than "gettin' down wit da bitches in da club" and "rottin me yellow (yuno what it is)." Good Morning might come as a surprise to you like it did for me, and who can resist modernist Japanese art anyways? There's no way you can lose out on this one. So what? It's a three minute romp through the mind of two very different artists.Įven if you don't like rap music I encourage this anime. It's short, wild, nonsensical and yeah it's not J-Pop. Notice the small ironies here and there - the bear graduates from "Dropout University" among other things. The contrasting nature of realism in the songs lyrics against the very unreal presentation of the video make for a very fun and smart watch. ![]() A real flight of fantasy, Good Morning starts on a small scale and the quickly builds up a pace that ends in a nonsensical bang. A single image of this looks weird enough, but to bring the art to a constant level is just bizarre. It follows the depicted bear (Kanye) on his graduation day in "Universe City." The reason this matters is because the video itself is a fleshed out version of That's right! The iconic cover to the 2007 double-platinum album sung by rapper Kanye Omari West was designed by Takashi Murakami (also responsible for bringing the current Louis Vuitton branding fashion to the mainstream). One of the oddest pairs in recent pop history, I present to you the very strange Kanye West and Takashi Murakami! Takashi Murakami, the renowned Japanese Pop Artist forever famous for his ultra-sheik take on fashion and commercialism, launches his career even further with his continuing efforts advancing superflat art like a bear out of a cannon. ![]() ![]() ![]() The serial number for Adobe is available.
![]() ![]() I've recompiled the changes with the final Quake 3 game code to bring it up to date. If you're using the CPMA mod then FYI that mod already has incorporated these changes, but otherwise a lightweight mod to improve this part of the UI may still be useful for you. mapfilename.arena: Example arena file: pk3structure.txt: Example for the pk3 structure: Cinema 4d Quake map exporter: Rocket Arena 3 (RA3) Map Tutorial and Guide: q3a-example-maps. (And honestly with RAM sizes these days, maps-per-gametype could have been much larger still. Fortunately it was pretty straightforward to create a tiny UI mod that increases that to 12 maps per screen and 256 maps per gametype. That menu only displays 4 maps per screen and 64 total maps per gametype. It's usually almost adorable how chunky the Quake 3 UI is, but if you try to use its "Skirmish" menu to play on a map against bots then it's just bad. ![]()

The final show was recorded as an HBO special since there were so few dates and so much demand to see Nicks. And I’m honored and so happy to play with you, anytime, anywhere.’ The culmination of doing that record, making this beautiful album, and then seeing the way she was going to deliver it onstage was the whole package. I don’t use that term lightly, and I don’t say that to many people, because there are very few rock and rollers on this planet, but you are a monster on fuckin’ stage. “I said, ‘Listen, you are a rock and roller, Stevie Nicks. Sensing it, he complimented the show, and when she brushed him off, he gave it to her straight. The nerves that Nicks felt perhaps manifested themselves in this exchange that Wachtel shared with UCR: Nicks was pushing him about not liking her performance, Wachtel recalls. “She'd be walking around with 14 stuffed animals close to her because she'd want to pick up every flower arrangement and every stuffed animal,” Perry says, noting that the newness of the experience made Nicks feel "like a 10-year-old kid at Disneyland." He adds, "She was a completely different person at that time from the last time she'd been onstage with Fleetwood Mac.” Perry also remembers the fans having a huge impact on Nicks by dressing like her and leaving her presents onstage that she attempted to gather at the end of every show. Watch Stevie Nicks Perform 'Sara' on the White Wing Tour in 1981 It was much more emotional to her at that point, being without Fleetwood Mac, you know, being on her own and having that kind of acceptance." ![]() She couldn’t believe how big the audiences were and how accepting they were. She was literally in tears after every show. “It wasn't just the first show it was about the first month or two. Nicks was nervous to headline her own tour, producer Gordon Perry recalls to UCR - actually, he calls her a “nervous wreck.” Perry was along for the whole thing as Lori’s husband. I've never really heard him outside of the context of Springsteen.” ![]() “He elevates all the material, both Fleetwood Mac and solo, with his presence. “Roy Bittan is just incredible,” Paul Fishkin, who co-founded Modern Records with Nicks and Danny Goldberg in 1980, tells UCR. And one of her big gets for the road group was Roy Bittan, pianist for the E Street Band. After spending half the year on the Hard Promises Tour with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - including a handful of East Coast shows in September and October where Nicks showed up to sing “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” - Heartbreakers keyboardist Benmont Tench also agreed to come out for the White Winged Dove dates. Lori Perry and Sharon Celani, her backing vocalists, obviously had to be part of the show. Waddy Wachtel, who played guitar on several Bella Donna tracks, joined her, as did bassist Bob Glaub and drummer Russ Kunkel. Some of the musicians she’d recorded with were either touring with other artists or booked up in the studio. One of the most important steps was assembling her band. ![]() |
